Things have been busy in our house. Our youngest, the baby of the family graduates in May, we have a vacation waiting for us right after that and then we are headed down south to see family. Between all the planning, my side gig being busier than usual and my husband traveling a lot for work the last couple of month’s…it’s been nonstop for me!
We have family coming up for our daughter’s graduation. Between everyone, we will have family here for two weeks. So, I have also been planning things to do while they are here, some of them have never been to our beautiful state and I want to show it off. We have the BEST National parks here. One of them being Yellowstone!
The graduation party is planned and done! We just have to show up, Thank God. That has taken some stress off of me and I won’t be preoccupied with it while our family is here. I’m happy and excited that we will be able to spend time together and have fun instead of me running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off trying to get a party together.
Prom is this weekend and her dress is AMAZING! She has lost over a hundred pounds in the last year and a half. I am so proud of her, she did it all on her own, working her ass of and she looks great. We had a scare with her heart a two years ago and she took full control of her body to make things better for herself. We are so proud of her!
Two weeks ago we went to Utah for a long weekend to get away for some relaxation. Let me tell you, we needed it and it was such a great getaway. The wether was beautiful and we had a much needed relaxing time. Just the hubby and I! Never stop dating your spouse, it’s so much fun!
We are excited for summer and the plans we have. With the my husband’s work, it can get hectic fast and then it stays that way for a while. As soon as the market changes, things take off and it gets hard to have actual time together as a family with everyone’s schedules. So, we plan months ahead to make sure we can have the summer we want.
I say all of that to say…I’m trying to keep up with this blog but life has had me busier than usual the last couple of months! If you’ve had a kid graduate from high school, you know how busy the Senior year is and how much happens. And how much money it takes to get it all done…lol!
I have cut out 4 hours this week to sit down and type up as many blog as as possible to get them posted the next couple of weeks. I have two of them almost done as I type this one out. I have a feeling the next couple of months are going to be even busier than I care to imagine!!
